Man arrested for allegedly possessing narcotics

Pokhara—Ward Police Office Rambazaar under District Police Office Kaski has arrested a person for allegedly possessing narcotics in Pokhara on Thursday.

Police had confiscated hashish, charas and tramadol hydrochloride from Bishal Ghamal who has been living at Ranipauwa Tulshi Marga of Pokhara Metropolitan City.

According to Gandaki Province Police Office, those items were seized from Ghamal’s room. Police had reached his room following a tip-off. Rambazaar Police Post marched Ghamal on Wednesday and displayed the narcotics seized from Ghamal. The items are tramadol hydrochloride 300 capsules, charas 300 gm and hashish 3.4 kg.

According to the police inspector of Rambazaar Prakash Thapa, the further investigation is undergoing and Ghamal was sent to DPO Kaski for that purpose.
