Pokhara—Citing his involvement against the party line, Nepali Congress Kaski has ousted its youth leader Naresh Shakar Palikhe from his all responsibility. Palikhe who was the NC general convention representative, regional representative, acting member and general member of Nepali Congress, had independently filed his nomination in Kaski constituency number 2 (2) for upcoming provincial election slated for Nov 26.
Formally, Nepali Congress has given the ticket of candidate to its leader Bindu Kumar Thapa form that constituency but the party has came to the conclusion that the Palikhe’s candidacy is against the NC policy and the rival candidacy from the same party is not fare.
Issuing a press release NC Kaski has asked the entire sister wings and party cadres not to support the Palikhe in election. The release that has been signed by NC Kaski acting chairman Sudeep Mohan Bhattarai, states that the district committee took this action as per the circular received from party central committee.
‘At a time when CPN-UML and CPN-MC have forged a left alliance to establish the authoritarian rule in the nation, NC could not accept the activities against the party discipline from its leader,’ the release states.
