Bhim Pani Baral honored with journalism award

Pokhara—Journalsim Bhimani Baral has been conferred a Late Gajendra Bhandari Srijansil Journalism Award in Pokhara on last Monday. CPN-UML politburo member and lawmaker Tul Bahadur Gurung honored journalist Baral with Rs 25,000 cash and Dosalla in a program organized by Federation of Nepali Journalists who manages this award.

Baral is currently working in Adarsha Samaj Daily of Pokhara. He has been in the field of journalism for about two decades.  FNJ Kaski former chairman Badri Binod Prateek talked about the personality of Late Bhandari and award selection committee coordinator Komal Nath Baral spoke about honored journalist Bhimpani Baral’s status and journalism career. Lawmaker Gurung also donated Rs 25,000 to FNJ Kaski’s provident fund during the program. Speaking in a program, Gurung accused the government of not being serious over journalists’ problems.
