Indian national held for kidnapping charge

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Police have arrested an Indian national Shahbuddhin Kusheri and Nepali national Arun Ghale for allegedly involving in the kidnapping of another Indian national Khursid Ahamad aka Sonu of Sunauli Jugauli of Maharajgunj district of Uttar Pradesh.

Police and local people rescued Khursid from Lekhnath Municipality Susishuwa- 8, Kaski. According to Gaju Siddhi Bajracharya, DSP of District Police Office Kaski, Khursid was rescued from Ashok Adhikari’s house where Khursid was taken hostage and was trying to come down by a rope on August 28. Police also recovered a pistol with a reading Made in USA, in incident site.

A vehicle was used and driven by Kusheri, 25, to kidnap Khursid who had arrived Pokhara for his private task. Kusheri who kidnapped Khursid has been living in Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan City-9 but originally hails from Hamidpur of Gorakhpur of India. Similarly another alleged kidnapper Arun Ghale, 21, who assisted Kusheri has been living in Kawasoti municipality- 11 of Nawalparasi.

According to District Police Office Kaski, Kusheri had asked 10 million rupees ransom from Khursid’s brother and threaten him of killing if his demand was not met. The further investigation is undergoing over the incident.
