Tanahun—The Federation of Nepalese Indigenous Journalists (FONIJ) Gandaki has organized an interaction on ‘development of information technology and contemporary journalism’ in Aanbu Khaireni on Wednesday.
The program was supported by the Ministry for Internal Affairs and Law of Gandaki Province and the Aanbu Khaireni Rural Municipality. According to FONIJ Gandaki Chairman MB Astha Magar, his organization carried out that program to update and upgrade the journalists as per the recent information technology and modern era journalism.
At the same time, Gandaki Province’s minister for Internal Affairs and Law Hari Bahadur Chuman asked the journalists to upgrade themselves to tackle the challenges of changing information technology. Likewise, Journalist Rajanish Bhandari spoke about the recent technology and changing trend of journalism in recent days.
Tanahun Chief District Officer Sagar Acharya, Anbu Khaireni Rural Municipality Chief Gir Bahadur Thapa, deputy chief Pushpa Devi Shrestha, FONIJ Gandaki in-charge Hum Bahadur Gurung, Secretary Khima Gurung and executive member Sunita Rana also put their views during the program.
