Pokhara—District Police Office Kaski Chief SP Jeevan Shrestha said that he was committed to fulfilling his responsibilities given by the government. He also added that he would carry out all the tasks as per the rule and constitution of Nepal.
He was addressing a security-related gathering organized by the Pokhara Chamber of Commerce in Pokhara. SP Shrestha claimed that he has been doing the regular duty but differently following his posting to Kaski district. ‘I will follow the norms of proactive policing with polite behavior,’ he said.
DPO Kaski DSP and spokesperson Subash Hamal said that his office will be patrolling in the district to maintain law and order during the time of Dashain. Prithvi Rajmarga Bus Company’s chairman Yogendra Bahadur KC, Pokhara Metropolitan City’s cooperative committee chairman Tej Narayan Adhikari, Bankers’ Association Gandaki chairman Dipendra Sharma, PCC chairman Kishan Sunar, senior vice chairman Gita Tiwari Gautam, general secretary Umaraj Bastola, REBAN Pokhara chairman Bhimsen Bhujel, and Pokhara Tourism Council general secretary Laxman Baral also put their suggestions and remarks.
