Pokhara–CPN-MC chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda Thursday claimed that the expired Legislature Parliament would be reinstated if the election is halted due to any hurdle in Nepal. Addressing a program in Kathmandu today, Dahal said that the house was automatically dissolved following the beginning of election procedure. ‘Supreme Court of Nepal also should understand the situation,’ chairman Dahal added.

Dahal was speaking revealing a book- Aadhunik Nepalko Itihaas (The Modern History of Nepal) written by CPN-MC leader Laxman Panta. Chairman Dahal who is also a former Prime Minister of Nepal said that the ballot papers were printed and are being printed in a common consensus made among Nepali Congress leader and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba including CPN-UML chairman KP Sharma Oli. The Supreme Court of Nepal on Wednesday has asked Election Commission about the printing progress of separate ballot papers regarding first past the post electoral system.

Dahal also claimed that there is being hatched conspiracy to postpone the federal and provincial elections slated for November 26 and December 7.
