Four of a family killed in Sindhuli landslides

Pokhara—Four members of a family were killed in landslides at Kamalamai Municipality- 6, Gairigaun in Sindhuli district last night.

They were buried under a collapsed house as landslides hit the house at around 2 am. According to District Police Office Sindhuli, deceased are identified as Durga Khadka, her two sons Anij, Manish and daughter Shova. Durga’s husband who was also buried under debris was rescued by Armed Police Force personnel.

The family has been living in a small hut built in the  land of Federation of Nepali Journalists Sindhuli chapter. They used to resort in daily labors for living. The heap of mud that was piled by DPO Sindhuli came down as landslides triggered by incessant rainfall in the district.
