Pokhara–District Police Office Dhanusha paraded two alleged rapists and killers of 10-year-old Manita Yadav on Sunday. Binod Mukhiya Bin and Nathuni Pandit were made public in a press meet organized at DPO Dhanusha. Police have claimed that Mukhiya and Pandit confessed the crime.
According to DPO Dhanusha SP Govinda Thapaliya, drunk Mukhiya first asked Manita to come to him and they raped her turn by turn on Friday evening. Manita took lunch and left home to observe a festival on that evening at around 7 pm but she didn’t return home that night. Next day, her family members informed about her missing to Ilaka Police Office Aurahi. A search operation began, her dead body was found in a rice field, 1 Km away of her home.
Manita had followed her neighboring Uncle Mukhiya as he promised that he would gave her Rs 10 including noodles and chocolates. Then they raped her choking her mouth. According to information, she died during her rape and her body was thrown in rice field. Then they left the incident site but later went back to the incident site to confirm her death and buried her face into mud.
