4 persons killed in Sindhuli jeep plunge

Sindhuli—At least four persons have been killed and six other injured as a bolero jeep met with an accident at Tarkeni Besi of Fikkal Rural Municipality- 4, in Nepal’s Sindhuli district on Sunday night.

The jeep with a number plate Ba 7 Cha 3695 plunged some 100 meter down at around 9 pm in Madhya Pahadi Lokmarga as it was heading for Khangsang from Khurkot of Sindhuli. According to SP Tika Bahadur KC, all the deceased are from Fikkal and they have been identified as Amar Bahadur Darlami, 40, Ram Prasad Baral, 40, Dilbahadur, 59 and Nar Bahadur Balampakhi, 60. Dhan Bahadur Magar who got serious injury is having treatment at B and B Hospital in Kathmandu.

Jeep driver Yaga Bahadur Rama Magar is in police custody. As per the information gave driver to the police, the accident occurred when the jeep was driven back to take enough space in a narrow uphill mode.
