Pokhara—A team of Western Regional Hotel Association (WRHA) Pokhara has reached to four government offices, demanding to address some of the curtail problems facing entrepreneurs and other common service seekers in Kaski.
The team led by WRHA Pokhara Chairman Bikal Tulachan visited Office of the Cottage and Small Industries (OCSI) Kaski, Nepal Water Supply Corporation Pokhara, Pokhara Tourism Office and Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City (PLMC) ward- 6 office with some demands and suggestions.
Talking in a small interaction in OCSI, WRHA Pokhara Chairman Tualachan suggested the office chief to be serious over the name duplication of various business enterprises while their registration. He also demanded to terminate the registration of the enterprises that breaching the provision of Cottage and Small Industries’ Act. WRHA Pokhara Secretary Rajendra Dhakal suggested the OCSI Kaski chief to punish the entrepreneurs who have been providing hotel and lodge services in the name of hostel for times. OCSI Kaski chief Thaman Singh Thapa pledged to addresses the demands put forth by the entrepreneurs.
WRHA Pokhara advisor and NTPC Western Regional Coordinator Govinda Raj Pahari demanded for the effective system of the garbage collection from the households of the people in Pokhara. He suggested the ward office to make a schedule for solid waste collection from the households.
PLMC ward- 6 Chairman Jagat Pahari vowed that he would work as per the aspiration by the service seekers and the entrepreneurs. WRHA Pokhara Chairman Tulachan also stressed on to control the sound pollution in Lakeside area. Parking problem, problems of stray cattle and stray dogs as well as traffic management were the issues that were interacted during the program.
WRHA Pokhara General Secretary handed over the table calendar and hotel directory to the office bearers of the government offices that were visited by the team of WRHA Pokhara. WRHA Pokhara Vice Chairman Bhekendra Kumar Shrestha, Treasurer Parvati Pandey and executive member Bhisma Raj Paudel were also present during the meetings.
