Palikhe unveils his manifesto as PCCI presidential candidate

Recentfusion. com: Pokhara : Media and tourism entrepreneur Bishwo Shankar Palikhe has formally disclosed his manifesto as a presidential candidate for Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) 31st general convention which is going to be held on 16 and 17 September 2016.

Organizing a press meet on Friday, Palikhe asked PCCI voters to make him victorious in upcoming PCCI election. He also claimed that he was most experienced candidate for ongoing presidential race.

With a slogan– Our commitment: Entrepreneur’s rights, well-being and prosperous Pokhara–Palikhe revealed his programs and plans as possible future president of PCCI. Speaking in a press meet, Palikhe said that he would work to make sure the construction of Pokhara regional international airport and would work as watch dog to make the project successful.

The mission of prosperous Pokhara, Pokhara as a headquarter of province number IV, forging the criteria and systematization of house rent and respective tax, life insurance of entrepreneurs, establishment of help-desk and online system in PCCI secretariat, clean and treated drinking water to the People of Pokhara, road traffic management and the neat and safe Pokhara are some of his plans that he unrolled during the press meet.

Displacement of tempo from Pokhara, lobbing for Pokhara regional international airport, commencement of Jaun Hai Pokhara campaign, development of Triathlon in Pokhara, development of sister relationship between various Chinese cities and Pokhara, continuity in PCCI are some of his notable past activities.

59-year old Palikhe is the founding president of Radio Annapurna Pvt.Ltd, executive president of Pokhara Cable Network, Pokhara Internet and Annapurna Housing and the owner of Paradise Tours and Travels. He is also a president of Nepal-China People Friendship Association, former president of Western Regional Hotel Association Pokhara, member of PCCI and the former executive member of Nepal Tourism Board.

The electoral panel from Palikhe side also was disclosed during the press meet. According to information given during the meeting, Rabindra Bahadur Prajoo in senior vice president, Gokarna Karki- vice chairman (industry), Kedar Nath Bhattarai- vice chairman (commerce), Damu Adhikari- general secretary, Pawan Prajapati- treasurer and Nabin Baral – deputy general secretary are the candidates from Palikhe panel.

Similarly, Anil Sigdel, Kishan Sunar, Gita Kumari Tiwari(Gautam), Dev Krishna Kafle, Prem Prasad Paudel, Prem Bahadur Bhujel, Pabitra Gurung, Yadu Nath Adhikari, Sita Baral and Surendra Bijukchhe are vying for the member of PCCI from Palikhe side.
