Landslide claims four lives in Syangja

Recentfusion.com—Syangja : Four persons of a single family killed while a landslide buried a house they were living, in Nepal’s Syangja district.

The landslide triggered by incessant rainfall claimed the lives of Chandra Kumari Saru, 78, Hom Kumari Mashrangi, 32, Milan Mashrangi, 1, and Poonam Mashrangi, 7, on last night, informed DSP Bir Bahadur Pulami Magar.

According to DSP Magar Hom Kumari had arrived to her father’s house along with her son and a daughter to mark Teej festival, in Keware Bhanjyang village development committee- 7 of upper Tapke. The landslide buried a portion of a house of owner Thaman Singh Saru Magar however other five persons who were sleeping another nearby room remained lucky.
