14 killed in Brazil nightclub shooting

Brazil—At least 14 persons were killed and six others wounded in a shooting attack at a dance club in the northeastern Brazilian city of Fortaleza, local police confirmed on Saturday.

The shooting happened in the crowded dance club Forro do Gago on Saturday dawn when a mass of heavily armed men entered the party and started to shoot at party attendees. Eyewitnesses told local Globo TV channel that the gunmen came at the club in three vehicles and bombards the bullets into the front of the block for almost half an hour before fleeing.

The shooting has caused a big number of killings. Local media reported that 14 people have been killed on spot and at least six others injured, some of them are children. Bullet signs can be noticed on the walls of the club, nearby houses and vehicles parked around.
