Pokhara—Asmita Yogi has been crowned Miss SEE 2017 in Pokhara on Saturday. She had given a good answer in a question asked by a chief jury member Vishow Kiran Jain from New Looks Cosmetic Pvt. Ltd. The question was on woman empowerment for education or reservation.
She bagged Rs 20,000 including silver crown defeating her 17 rivals. She also got a chance of studying higher education worth rupees 0.3 million and the radio jockeying. Isha Shrestha and Salma Bhat were crowned first runner up and second runner up respectively during the event. They got Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 including silver crowns.
Students who had appeared in the exam of Secondary Education Examination (SEE) took part in the contest that aimed to enhance their skill and strength, informed organizer Events for U Pvt. Ltd. Chairman Bishal Gurung. The winner of the contest would get a chance of direct participation in Miss Grand Nepal pageant.
The event was specially supported by Lions Club of Beauty City and was cooperated by Saregama Entertainment House.
