NC unveils election manifesto

Pokhara—Ruling Nepali Congress today has unveiled its manifesto for upcoming local level election which is going to be held in two phases on May 13 and June 14.

With a slogan, Peace and constitution in NC’s leadership, campaign of prosperity even in NC’s leadership, party Chair Sher Bahadur Deuba announced the manifesto organizing a press meet in Kathmandu.

The manifesto covers the roadmap that would be implemented if the party wins the polls. NC vows 0.3 to 0.5 million annual employments to achieve the economic growth rate of 10 percent for at least ten years.
Manifesto Drafting Committee Coordinator Mahesh Acharya said that the manifest that NC disclosed today is not only a commitment but also a practical working plan.

Tourism promotion, mono rail in Kathmandu, Rs 600 billion budget allocation to local levels and provinces are some of the assurances that manifests includes. The matters of agriculture development and insurances are also the included in the manifesto.
