YCL Kaski to begin market monitoring campaign

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Young Communist League (YCL) Kaski is to launch a market monitoring campaign against black marketing, price hike and corruption in Kaski soon.

Organizing a press meet, YCL newly elected executive body announced that the committee is all set to inspect the consumer market for the rights of consumers. Earlier, a 71-member new committee was formed by a unification gathering of YCL and Revolutionary Youth League. Ram Bahadur Thapa was chosen as a chairman of the committee.

Speaking in a press meet, Thapa vowed to bring black marketers before the law. He also said that the new committee would work against them who are involved in anti-free student union elections. According to him, YCL also would be active to control hooligans of the society.

YCL former chairman Binay Thapa reminded that his organization had involved for the development of Pokhara. Roads’ expansion, foot track construction in Phewa beach, stand against Indian embargo and price controlling of consumer goods and services are some of the tasks that YCL involved in the past, he informed.

The unification gathering picked Santosh Sonam, Bhoj Raj Paudel and Angels Karki as vice president. Toran Karki was elected in secretary, while Bikash Thapa, Sandesh Pun and Muhammad Faran Khan were in joint secretary. Bimal Khadka was chosen as treasurer.

Likewise, Rajkumar Dulal was picked as in-charge of YCL and Nabin Gurung, Subash Paudel and Umakanta Khanal were selected as joint in-charge. The unification gathering picked Dambar Bahadur Pariar and Gautam Thapa as Discipline Commissioners. Ram Kumar Budha Magar is the account coordinator of the committee.
