CPN-UML Morcha Sangathan announces 20-point Pokhara declaration

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: A national gathering of CPN-UML Morcha Sangathan has announced 20 points Pokhara declaration in a final day of 3 day long program here in Pokhara today.

The gathering has urged the government to withdraw the constitution amendment bill tabled in house. Saying that, the amendment bill is unjustifiable, the gathering stressed on the need of constitution implementation rather than its amendment.

The declaration accused the amendment bill of being against the national intrest and fueling against social harmony. According to declaration, the amendment bill wishes to divide the Hills and Tarai regions and their people.

The gathering also demanded to announce the poll dates at earliest and urged to pass the constitution related laws at earliest. CPN-UML leaders and cadres promised to make their party a number one with majority of seats in upcoming three tiers of elections.

The gathering also vowed to make the Mechi-Kali campaign a grand success. A total of 20 various CPN-UML’s front associations took part in the gathering that was inaugurated by party chairman and former PM KP Sharma Oli on Sunday.
