Early morning earthquake rocks Nepal

Recentfusion.com–Kathmandu: The aftershock rocked Nepal’s capital city Kathmandu early in the moring today. An aftershock measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale has rocked the valley. People came out of their residence as aftershock hit their territory.

According to National Seismological Center, Lainchaur, the earthquake struck at 5: 20 am with its epicenter near Ramechhap and Solukhumbu. Tremors were felt in the eastern districts of Nepal as well as in the north-east part of southern neighbor India.

The damages caused by this aftershock have not been reported yet however a old house in Lekhnath Municipality of mid Nepal has reportedly been said to be damaged by the tremor. As many as 474 aftershocks have been felt so far following the Gorkha earthquake that killed 9,000 people on April last year.
