Pokhara—Social worker, former lawmaker and industrialist Surya Bahadur KC announced that he would join Nepali Congress very soon. Organizing a press meet in Pokhara on Thursday, KC made clear that he is now on talk with the central leadership of Nepali Congress and would joint that party as the deal is done.
KC who is a former Rastriya Prajatantra Party leader, had left that party to remain free from any political party for few time, following the wrangling showed in RPP. He also made clear that he is going to join Nepali Congress as that part represents the democratic line. ‘I preferred NC though there are lots of my friends involved in politics and social work from left parties, KC added—but I choose NC and would be active in this party as I enter NC.
He also accused CPN-MC of killing 14,000 persons and CPN-UML of not being able to save democracy. KC who reportedly assisted CPN-UML in local level elections and was said to be joining that party but took u-turn choosing NC. He also said that he is for economic prosperity and Hindu State Nepal.
