25 including 8 journalists killed in Kabul bombings

Kabul(Afghanistan)—The death toll of twin bombings in Kabul has reached to 25 and some 45 have been injured during the tragedy.

According to Public Health Ministry spokesman Wahid Majro, the suicide bomber targeted a voter registration center in Kabul on Sunday. IS took the responsibility of attack that also claimed eight journalists.

The first blast happened around 10 a.m. when a suicide bomber blew himself up among a crowd queuing up to get access to an election-related registration site in Kabul, mid-day reported. Around two hours later, a bomb detonated close to a voter registration center in Baghlan and all victims were members of the same family, Tolo News reported.
