Dragon Boat Race Festival ends in Pokhara

Pokhara—Sichuan Dragon Boat Team has won the title of the Dragon Boat Race competition held in Pokhara on June 23 and 24. The team received a total of 1.1 million rupees in prizes winning both events 200 m and 500 m races.

Likewise, securing the 2^nd position in both events, NARA Dragon Boat Team got Rs 700,000. The Yunnan Dragon Boat Team bagged Rs 400,000 becoming the third in both events of the friendly competition organized under the Dragon Boat Race Festival on the banks of Fewa Lake. A total of eight teams four from China and four from Nepal took part in the race held in Phewa Lake.
