Fewa New Year Festival from April 13 in Pokhara

A meeting is underway to form various sub-committees in Pokhara.

Pokhara—Hotel Association Pokhara Nepal (HAPN) is to organize a 17th Fewa New Year Festival from April 13 to 14 on the occasion of the Nepali New Year in Pokhara. Various sub-committees have been formed to make the festival a success.

The festival is going to be happened in the streets of Lakeside for the first time after two years of its postponement due to Covid- 19 pandemic. Two beautiful stages will be installed at Ammat and Center Point. According to HAPN Chairman and festival coordinator Laxman Subedi, the festival will mainly focus on food, music, and culture. The revival of Covid hit tourism is another motto of the festival mainly sponsored by Annapurna Cable Car Pvt. Ltd.

Visitors can enter the festival without any ticket. Duet songs, pop songs, comedy shows, and various performances will be incorporated into the festival. According to HAPN General Secretary Rajendra Dhakal, the festival will be helpful to promote Pokhara in the domestic and international market. He further added that HAPN is feeling proud that they got the main sponsor like Annapurna Cable Car Pvt. Ltd.
