Pokhara—CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli Tuesday claimed that the incumbent Sher Bahadur Deuba government was formed unconstitutionally. Chairman Oli accused the Supreme Court of Nepal of coming up with a wrongful verdict to appoint NC Chairman Deuba as the new PM.
Chairman Oli was addressing a comprehensive gathering of party activists in Pokhara. ‘The verdict to appoint Deuba as new PM directly from the court is against the constitution,’ Chairman Oli said, ‘this happened for the first time in the world.’ Chairman Oli also blamed rival-alliance that his government was toppled as he included the Kalapani, Lipulek, and Limpiyadhura in Nepal’s new map following the house endorsement.
Chairman Oli also accused CPN-Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal of involving in anti-UML activity once the latter was CPN-UML senior leader. “MK Nepal also involved toppling the former government allying with the rival alliance’, he added, ‘Nepal also reached to President Office and Supreme Court to topple my government.’
Saying that the existing government is functionless, Oli further added that the government will do nothing for the betterment of people and the nation. He also expressed his dissatisfaction that the government did nothing against the recent Indian helicopter show-off at the Nepali border.
