Pokhara—Main opposition Nepali Congress Joint General Secretary Arjun Narsingh KC accused the government of being authoritarian and involving in corruption. Addressing a mass gathering organized by NC in Pokhara, leader KC claimed that the government is the most corrupt government in history and working against the democracy of Nepal.
The Pokhara gathering was one of the programs of a nationwide protest of that party. NC leaders and cadres marched from Chipledhunga to Prithvi Chowk where the rally converted into a mass meeting. Leader KC also claimed that the incumbent government is one of the corrupt governments in South Asia and it is a very shameful matter for Nepal in the world community.
He challenged the government to form a high-level committee led by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to investigate corruption in the country. At the same time, he also accused the government of failing to control the Covid 19 and the price hike in the market.
Former speaker and NC leader Tara Nath Ranabhat, former minister Yagya Bahadur Thapa and Nepal Student Union leader Bhanu Dhakal also put their views during the meeting.
