By Rup Narayan Dhakal : Pokhara—Prabhu Pay CAN Info-Tech 2020 in association with Worldlink has kicked off at Pokhara Exhibition Center in Nayabazaar Pokhara on Sunday. Gandaki Province Governor Amik Sherchan inaugurated the program amid a formal ceremony.
Federation of Computer Association Nepal (CAN) Kaski organized event will end on February 27. According to CAN Kaski Chairman Rukmangat Bhandari, the development and promotion of information technology is the key objective of the event. A total of 100 stalls have been installed in the infotech.
IT expo, ICT conference, typing competition, ICT speech competition, ICT quiz contest are also the attractions of the event. IT related trainings, computer and laptop repairing, exhibition of ICT related production, Robert exhibition and mobile gaming also are included in the infotech, informed CAN Kaski secretary and publicity sub-committee coordinator Sewak Chhitij.
Made in Nepal exposer, business talk program, graphics design, hardware and network related solutions also are added attractions of the program. CAN Kaski has expected 3.5 million rupees income and 3 million rupees expenses in the infotech. Saved fund will be mobilized for the development of IT related activities and sector.
At the same time, Federation of Computer Association Nepal chairman Nawaraj Kunwar, Bijaypur Barrack army chief Gokul Bhandari, PCCI General Secretary Arjun Pokhrel, La Grandee International College chief Kiran KC, opening and concluding ceremony coordinator Chandi Prasad Aryal, CAN Gandaki Chairman Tulsi Ram Pandey put their remarks during the opening ceremony.
