Tourist stabs Nepali man in Pokhara

Pokhara–An Austrian citizen Dominic Ader, 33, has been arrested by police for allegedly stabbing and wounding a Nepali national Shiva Shrestha, 34, of Pokhara Metropolitan City- 6, Khahare on Monday night.

According to District Police Office Kaski, Ader who was in intoxicated state thrust a knife into Shrestha’a armpit at Sedi Bridge of Lakeside, Pokhara. Police quoted Ader as saying that both are the friends and the incident happened as Shrestha punched Ader over a dispute.

Police at midnight nabbed Ader from a hotel room following the information of incident. Shrestha who is said to be a tourist hostel owner is getting treatment in Charak Memorial Hospital Pokhara and the investigation over the incident is undergoing.
