Abandoned infant rescued in Pokhara

Pokhara—Police has rescued an infant who was abandoned possibly by his mother from Shantinagar of Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City- 7 on Tuesday morning. The around 1.5 months baby boy was lying down in warm clothes nearby a business shutter, informed DSP Nabin Karki of Ward Police Office Baidam.

Local people had informed about the infant as they didn’t see his mother around the scene. Then police rescued the baby and brought to Western Regional Hospital Pokhara for health check up and treatment.

The baby is said to be out of danger however the sign of jaundice has been diagnosed on him. Some of the people who have no child has asked to own the baby.
