Police marches Gauchan’s alleaged killers

Kathmandu–Police have marched five suspects who murdered Federation of Contractors’ Association of Nepal (FCAN) Chairman Sharad Kumar Gauchan, in Kathmandu on Tuesday. Gauchan was was shot dead at a busy road of Kharibot of Nayabaneswor.

Though the mastermind behind the murder is still underground, the shooter and his allies were made public by police today. According to police, alleged gangster Samir Man Singh Basnet made a plan of killing and he is said to be out of Nepal. Police also said that there is a hand of Manoj Pun of Butwal who allegedly killed the chairman of Youva Sangh Rupandehi Durga Tiwari.

Police claimed that the killing was carried out as Gauchan didn’t give the ransom as per demanded by the team of Basnet however it has not been revealed that how much money was demanded. The motorcycle that was used during the murder of Gauchan was stealing from India and was installed a Nepali number plate. Rajeev Lama Syangtan from Nuwakot is said to be a shooter among the arrested.

Likewise, police made public Mukesh Kumar Pandey of India, Shivaji Mahato and Santosh Gurng of Parsa and Prakash Budhathoki of Kathmandu.
