Three gone missing in Nepal’s rivers

Chitwan—Two youths went missing in Narayani River as they were taking holy bath there in Devghat on Thursday, District Police Office Chitwan confirmed. Missing are identified as Chandraman Shrestha, 38 and his younger brother Rajkumar Shrestha, 28 from Sandhikharka. The search operation of missing is going on but they have not been found till Friday morning.

Shrestha brothers including their other two brothers had reached Devghat to mark their father’s death anniversary called Shardha in Nepal. Two brothers drowned in Narayani as they bathing there at around 1 pm. Missing brothers are entrepreneurs by profession in Sandhikharka.

Likewise, a teenager Sujan Shrestha, 15 of Dhading Siddhalek- 3 also went missing in Budhigandaki River on Thursday evening. The incident happned as he was trying to swim in the river.
