Six persons swept away in Sarlahi, missing

Sarlahi—Six persons went missing as Lakhandehi stream of Sarlahi swept them away on Monday. According to District Police Office Sarlahi, the flood following the incessant rainfall at that stream swept away three children and their mother in Jiyajor of Patharkot. Likewise, a women went missing in Jutpani while other one from Pidari, informed Masaud Aalam Khan, SP of DPO Sarlahi.

Missing are identified as Radhika Dhungana, 29, her son Kishmat, 7, daughter Kritika, 5 and Kriti, 1. They were on their way to Jiyajor from Bara District to receive the Dashain Tika from their in laws. Bhimmaya Kafle, 55 who is on her way back to home after grazing her buffaloes also was swept away. Ramdev shah, 60 of Pidari also is among the missing. The search operation of missing is said to be underway.
