Pokhara—Security personnel have rescued a youth from Seti River ravine in Prithivi Chowk of Pokhara this morning.
Manoj Sunar, 21 of Pokhara Lekhnath Metroplital City ward number 9 Krishnatol was spotted under the Seti River Bridge and local people informed police about the situation. After being rescued, he is having treatment at Gandaki Medical Hospital.
Manoj sustained injury in his head, legs and hands. According to his father Deepak Sunar, Manoj was at home till 5 Pm last Sunday but later he had disappeared. He is the only son of his family and his wife is in abroad for employment. His family has been in wage worker for more than 17 years.
Nepal Police Pardi Battalion, APF Kalika Battalion Malepatan, Nepal Army Kalibhanjan Battalion rescue teams were deployed in Sunar’s rescue took two ours. Then he was taken to hospital carrying in shoulder lack of instant availability of stretcher.
