Two killed, 3 injured in Nepal landslides

Pokhara—At least two persons were killed in the spot and three other injured in separate landslides in Nepal. Jaya Lal BK, 75 and his grandson Bivek BK, 13 were killed while a collapsed wall stampeded them at Galkot Municipality ward number 9 of Baglung district last night.

According to District Police Office Baglung, the wall went collapsed as landslide hit the wall at around 11 pm. Their dead bodies have been excavated and sent to the hospital for postmortem.

Likewise, three of a family got injured when a landslide broke the back-wall of a house they have been living in rent at Baral Danda of Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City- 26 last night.

Bir Bahadur Lama, his wife Jamuna and son Anjan got injured as the collapsed wall hit them at around 3 am in the night.  There health condition is said to be normal and their treatment is undergoing in Manipal Teaching Hospital Pokhara. The house is said to be of Kuldip Baral who has shifted in new house for few days, informed District Police Office Kaski.
