Three killed, 8 houses burried in Panchthar landslides

Pokhara—Three persons of a family were killed as a landslide buried the house they were resorting at Phalelung- 3 in Nepal’s Panchthar district on Friday morning.

According to District Police Office Panchthar, deceased are identified as Bishnu Bhakta Rai, his daughter Ganga Maya and his grand daughter Priya. Likewise, in a separate incident, Tilochan BK, 73 went missing in separate incident at Falelung- 1 Chumpadin. A team of police has been reached for the rescue operation.

According to ward chair Bir Bikram Thamsung, four other houses were buried during landslides in Falelung- 3, Manglebu. The houses of Man Bahadur Jabegu, Mangal Bahadur Rai, Tej Bahadur Jabegu and Narendra Lal Chauhan were buried in the landslides.Similarly, four more houses were reportedly buried in Falelung- 1 Chumpadin.
