Thousands of devotees mark Bolbom in Pokhara

Pokhara—Thousands of Hindu devotees marched from Gaighat to Kedareshwor Temple to mark Bolbom festival in Pokhara on Monday. Hindu devotees celebrate Bolbom every year in the month of Saun. They fast and start Bolbom from the first Monday of this month and ends in the last Monday of same month.

Thousands of devotees offered pooja and sacred water to the sign of Lord Shiva in Kedareshwor Temple today, informed organizer Kedareshwor Mahadev Sewasram Committee Pokhara. The water was taken from the sacred Seti River of Pokhara.

According to Bolbom coordinator Shankar Kharal, devotees also took holy bath of 108 taps in Kedareshwor after taking holy bath in Seti River and the dances and rally were held in the street of Pokhara. Temple priest Dr. Lekhnath Acharya informed that some devotees had reached to the temple for pooja at 4 am today.
