Jaun Hai Pokhara’s Packages disclosed in Kathmandu

Kathmandu—The package programs under Jaun Hai Pokhara (Let’s go to Pokhara) campaign have been been disclosed in capital city Kathmandu the day before. Jaun Hai Pokhara (JHP) is a campaign run by Western Regional Hotel Association (WRHA) Pokhara to promote the domestic tourism in Pokhara region. This campaign has been undergoing for more than 15 years in Nepal.

The packages programs were announced by WRHA Pokhara Chairman Bikal Tulachan during a press meet especially organized to invite people from Kathmandu to 14th New Year Festival 2074 that is going to be held at Komagane Park of Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City- 6 from April 11 to 15.

JHP campaign comprises the packages like Visit Pokhara, Educational tour, Honemoon trip. The packages cost ranging from Rs 2,900 per person to Rs 21,110 in twin sharing basis. Pickup from airport or Bus Park, sightseeing, boating in Fewa Lake, ultralight flight, bungee jumping and paragliding are the parts of different packages.

Speaking in a press meet, Mr. Tulachan who is also a Coordinator of festival, made clear the aims of Fewa Festival. Conservation of Nepali and Fewa Lakes are some of the key motto of the festival. This is also a part of a campaign like Pokhara For all Seasons. Boat race, tourist race and solo dance competition are some of the major attractions of the festival. A total of 60 including 15 food stalls would be installed in the festival venue.

According to WRHA Pokhara General Secretary Ganesh Raj Pahari, the major focus of the festival is Tourism, Culture and Food. The festival also mainly targets domestic tourists that fulfilling the 50 percent occupancy of Pokhara hotels, he informed. WRHA Pokhara First Vice Chairman Laxman Subedi welcomed all the journalist and guests during the press meet that also was joined by Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) Senior Officer Lab Karki and Program Coordinator Ramesh Paneru. The program was sponsored by Airport Hotel and organized by HAN.
