Palpa jeep accident kills four persons

Recentfusion.com–Pokhara: At least four persons were killed and 15 others injured when a jeep skied off the road at Sri Dada of Dovan village development committee- 4, in Palpa district last night.

According to District Police Office Palpa, deceased are identified as Hari Prasad Rana, 49, Min Prasad Thapa, 49, Jasvir Wakaval, 41 and Yam Bahadur Rana, 26 of Dovan. All the injured are being treated at Lumbini Hospital.

Some of the injured are in critical condition. According to police, the jeep was returning back after taking part in wedding procession. The ill-fated jeep (Lu 1 Ja 2689) plunged some 150 meter down from the off road due to break fail.
