542 players selected for National Games from Western Dev Region

Recentfusiion.com—Pokhara: 542 players are going to take part in 7th National Games from Western Development Region.

According to Western Regional Sports Development Committee, those players will take part in 30 games that will be started from 23 December in Eastern Development Region. The farewell program for selected players was organized in Pokhara yesterday. President Bidhya Devi Bhandari is going to inaugurate the National Games in Biratnagar.

Chairperson of the Development Committee of the Legislature-Parliament Rabindra Adhikari, Nepal Army Western Pritana Chief Jagadish Chandra Pokhrel, APF DIG Narendra Singh wished the players for best result in the upcoming National Games. They handed over the national flag to volleyball player Manju Gurung and football player Anil Gurung.

106 coaches and managers also are going to participate from this region in the National Games. Western Regional Sports Development Committee Chairman Khaga Raj Paudel will lead the players from this region. He will be assisted by chief coach Bidhya Marshani and office chief Laxman Prasad Yogi.

Players from five development regions of Nepal and 3 departmental teams will take part in the National Games that will be ended on December 30. All total 35 games will be included in the National Games.
