Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Actress and filmmaker Rekha Thapa joined the Rastriya Prajatantra Party in Kathmandu on December 12. Once up on a time the fan of CPN Maoist Center chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Thapa also made clear that she never took the membership of his party.
RPP Chairman Kamal Thapa offered Tika and garland to Rekha Thapa to welcome her into his party. Rekha’s mother Sarswoti Thapa also joined RPP along with her daughter. Rekha said that she joined RPP because of the Hinduism that RPP follows. ‘As I am a Hindu woman, she added- RPP is best political party for me.
She further said that she wishes to die blanketing by the flags of RPP and Nepal. Talking her past, Rekha said that she had enjoyed with CPN-MC as millions of people liked that party and she also went to that party as an artist loves the crowd.
‘RPP is my first political party and will be remains forever’, Thapa added- I could not compromise in the issues of nation and nationality.
