4 Nepali killed in US car accident

Recentfusion.com—Georgia : Four Nepalis were killed in a car accident in Georgia of United States on Friday.

According to Georgia Department of Public Safety, Chirineebee Khanal 61, his wife Shayama Khanal, his son’s wife Richa Khanal 28, and Pratima Subedi 29, lost their life as a Nissan Altima car and 18-tyred goods carrier truck collided in Jefferson County of Atlanta. Subedi was said to be a girl friend of his youngest son. All total 6 persons were travelling in that car when it met with an accident.

Samir Khanal 36 who was driving that car and Subash Khanal are the sons of Chirinjivi wounded in the accident. The car was heading to north of Georgia via a road 296 when it collided with a truck. In a preliminary report, the Mack truck driver Shondale Collins, 42 of Sandersville was trying to save a car that was spotted in front of him, however the accident happened. Truck driver sustained normal injury.

The main cause behind the accident is still unknown however the county has begun investigation. Khanal family was in Georgia to celebrate Tihar festival.
