Gopi Bahadur Bhattarai selected as 18the Pokhara Street Festival coordinator

Gopi Bahadur Bhattarai—Pokhara: Gopi Bahadur Bhattarai has been selected as a new coordinator of 18th Pokhara Street Festival that is to be held from December 28 to 1st January 2017.

Restaurant and Bar Association Nepal (REBAN) Pokhara has been organizing such festival every year for 17 years on the occasion of new year of Gregorian calendar. Bhattarai who is a immediate past president of REBAN Pokhara and owner of Paradiso Sports Bar and Grill was selected as coordinator by the executive meeting of that organization on Friday.

REBAN Pokhara vice president duo Bhimsen Bhujel and Laxman Baral have been chosen as joint-coordinator of the festival which is the calendar event of REBAN Pokhara. Bhujel is the owner of Queen Forest Restro and Bar; and Baral is the owner of Be Happy Restaurant.

The REBAN Pokhara meeting has nominated Lok Gurung and Rajendra Dhakal as an executive member of that organization. Gurung is the owner of Almond Café and Dhakal is the owner of the Harbor Restaurant. Pratima Bhujel and Bikash Bhattarai were nominated as invited member of that organization.

The meeting which was chaired by REBAN Pokhara president Chau Bahadur Gurung was hosted by general secretary Bishwo Raj Paudel. According to President Chau Bahadur Gurung, the Pokhara Street Festival which is going to be held in the 3-km long street of Lakeside would be a mega event.
