PSMC CEO Dhungana announces three phases of working plans for Pokhara development

Naba Raj Dhungana, CEO PSMC—Pokhara: Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan City (PSMC) Chief Executive Officer Naba Raj Dhungana declared three kinds of working plans- instant, medieval and long-run for the development of Pokhara.

Speaking in a talk program organized by Bahas Kendra Nepal (BKN) Pokhara on Thursday, CEO Dhungana asked for support from people to make his plan success. He also proposed some of the programs to stop the footpath encroachment, systematic parking, and stray cattle control in Pokhara.

He said that the implementing the programs previously passed by the the municipal council is his duty. He pledged systematic service from municipal office and the disable friendly physical infrastructures. CEO Dhungana vowed to consult with stakeholder to take suggestions on the issue of unified property tax. Dhungana also recalled the recent notice issued by his office to remove the illegal structures constructed from Bijaypur to Prithvi Chok along the road side.

Right activist Ram Bahadur Paudel, social worker Ujwal Khatri, Upabhokta Manch Kaski president Kapil Nath Koirala, social workers Prakash Bhujel, Shiva Prasad Gautam, Mandara Dhakal, Sushila Wagle, Sita Gurung, Pokhara Valley Urban Development Committee member Maya Parajuli, journalists Yagya Raj Paudel, Kamal Paudel Athak, Sarita Timilsina, Uday Bahadur Amatya put suggestion for the development of Pokhara in the program chaired by BKN Pokhara president Anup Prakash Paudel.
