Sadikchha Pandey crowned as Miss Pokhara 2016

Pramisha Thapa became first runner up and Unnati Gurung was chosen as 2nd runner up in a final contest held in Pokhara City Hall. All total 11 participants contested for the title of the pageant organized by Pokhara Jaycees and managed by Events for U Pvt. Ltd.

21-year old Sadikchha bagged Rs 50,000 cash including a Dio Scooter. She also has got an opportunity to take part in Miss Nepal contest organized by Hidden Treasure. First runner up Pramisha got Rs 30,000 and 2nd runner up Unnati bagged Rs 20,000 cash prize. They also got a Gionee mobile set each.

Big FM president and King’s Institute Director Mahesh Bhandari, singer Rekha Shah, Nepal Tourism Board Officer Surya Thapaliya, Rita Joshi Palikhe, young entrepreneur Niranjan Shrestha and Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan City office senior officer Om Raj Paudel were in the jury.

The event was chaired by Pokhara Jaycees president Govinda Devkota and coordinated by Shiva Subedi. Miss Pokhara contest was started in 1995 but discontinued in 1999. However, it was restarted since 2013.
