Karna Das’s album released after a decade

Recentfusion.com–Pokhara: Popural Nepali singer Karna Das’s new music album ‘Yeuta Naya Aasha’, a new hope has been released after a decade again, in Kathmandu today.

It’s his new album after ‘Preet’ that he released in 2007. His mother Ratna Devi unveiled his recent album and a music video, in a special ceremony organized at Hotel Annapurna. The CD contains 12 songs and one of them has been visualized too.

Singer Das who born 41 years ago in Pokhara came in limelight as he sang the song Jindagiko Ke bharosha….in 2053 BS. He has been in Nepali music sector for two decades and is the lead singer of Madhyanha Band.

He was recently felicitated by Som Bajracharya Memorial Music Award in Pokhara. He had already released music albums like Madhyanha 1, 2 and 3, Byerthai Feri, Purano Dunga and Aadha Sapana.

Singer das sang more than 1,200 songs and performed in Karna Das Yekal Sanjh organized in 2072 BS in Pokhara. Das who went to US for a musical show in 2006, stayed there and returned back to Nepal after 9 years of gap.

He had performed in Japan, UK, Hong Kong, Thailand and gulf countries. He performed 44 times in Darjeeling alone. Singer Das has strong belief that his mother is almighty. Most of his songs are heart touching and have big emotion.
