Twin blasts rock capital Kathmandu

Recentfusion.com—Kathmandu: Twin explosion in two separate schools rocked the capital city Kathamandu this morning. However there is no report of human casualty.

According to Private and Boarding School Association of Nepal (PABSON) general secretary DK Dhungana, the bombs went off in Manakamana Boarding School and Aakashdeep Higer Secondary School of Jorpati. Both the explosions were carried out by pressure cooker bombs.

The blast damaged the gate of Aakashdeep and the rear part of Manakamana School. The first explosion heard at around 3 am and second at around 3.45 am local time.

Likewise, suspected objects have found in five schools–Radian Readers Academy Sanepa, Kanchenjunga School Dallu, Rai School and East Pole schools of Baudha, Balsansar Secondary School of Makalbari, informed SSP Bikram Singh Thapa Two persons were arrested in suspect of bomb explosion however their identity has not been disclosed.

Few pamphlets have been recovered from the explosion sites. The pamphlet reads the name of All Nepal National Free Student Center and the Young Communist Force. Both the organizations are related to Maoist Communist Center led by Devendra Mahato. Equal criteria to private and community schools and education to children of poor people are some of the demands included in the pamphlet.
