DPM Nidhi stresses on constitution implementation

Recentfusion.com–Pokhara: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi today said that the implementation of constitution is the topmost priority of the government. Addressing a gathering organized to remember late Nepali Congress leader Ramji Paudel Badal murdered a year ago, in Lekhnath Municipality, minister Nidi sought the assistance of the Nepali people to implement the constitution.

He also asked the political parties to play a constructive role in implementing the constitution. “It is the responsibility of all political parties to go hand in hand to implement the constituion.’said Nidhi. He also recalled the seven point agreement reached between NC and  CPN-MC and claimed that the agreement was clinched for the implementation of the constitution.

Minister Nidi also claimed that the coaliation between NC and CPN-MC needed to take the constitution in emplementing state. He also said that the two party alliance was happended as a time when CPN-MC joined the peace process leaving 10 year’s bloody war.

Nidhi further added that the reconstruction in earthquake hit areas, addresing the demands of Madhesi people, state restructuring and three various kind of elections are the major responsibilites that government should conclude. According to him, the government is serious to do a local body election within the stipulated time.

Minister Nidhi said that the governement is working to make the good realtionship with India and China as he and another DPM Krishna Bahadur Mahara soon going to visit those two country respectively.
