Two arrested for banking fraud—Pokhara: Police from Nepal’s Kaski district arrested 2 youths for their alleged involvement on banking-software hacking to get other money illegally. Lila Bahadur Khad of Dolakha district and Kosh Raj Bhattarai of Morang district were arrested from a hotel of Lakeside for their fraud activities.

A team of poice led by ASI Ubaraj Jung Karki including SI Megh Raj Gurung from District Poice Office KASKI AND SI Kul Prasad Roka from ward Police Office Baidam from Western Regional Police Office, arrested duo who transferred others’ money in their own account.

Arrested duo used bogus ATM cards in various restaurants, groceries and other shopping centers to purchase goods and services and went into police custody as account holders complaint of deducting money from their account without any reason, informed Kaski district DSP Gajju Siddhi Bajracharya.

Police also seized some ATM cards and a machine from duo who have been using that for last 6 months to hack the banking software. According to police, further investigation is going on.
