Man held for looting

Recentfusion.com–Pokhara: Police has arrested Basanta Thapa, 26 of Dhabang village development committee of Rolpa District on charge of looting mobile sets from number of people in Pokhara.

Thapa used to loot the people from park, resting shelters and isolated areas posing himself a CID of Nepal Police and the Nepal Army. He wished to check the body of the people for security check and later intimidated them to take the mobile phones, informed District Police Office Kaski DSP Gaju Siddhi Bajracharya.

Police also recovered 16 sets of mobile phones including a bicycle that were allegedly looted by Thapa. Other two persons were also arrested for purchasing the mobile sets from accused Thapa.
