Recentfusion.com–Pokhara: Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya (SAM) Pokhara and Gandaki Higher Secondary Boarding School (GHSBS) Pokhara won the title of Inter School Coca-Cola Cup Football Tournament.
SAM lifted title to boys’ side when GHSBS bagged the title in girls side. SAM outplay Kalika Higher Secondary School 4-0 in a final match held in Pokhara Stadium on Sunday.
Similarly, GHSBS defeated Tops Higher Secondary School 3-0 in a final match. For SAM Sameer Karki and Prabin Chaudhari made 2-2 goal each as Smriti Gurung and Aakriti Gurung created 2 and 1 goals respectively for GHSBS.
Following this championship, the SAM and Kalika Higher Secondary School was selected for regional championship and GHSBS was chosen for final game to be held in Kathmandu.
Yam Bahadur Gurung, Chairman of Kaski District Sports Development Committee (KDSDC), distributed the trophy and prizes. All total 90 schools to boys side and 14 school for girls side had taken part in the championship inaugurated in Jeth 20, 2073, informed championship coordinator Kumar Gurung. Sponsored who helped to make a championship success were also provided token of love, informed KDSDC vice chairman Milan Gurung.
