Tamuwan begins relay hunger strike

Recentfusion.com–Pokhara: Protesting the existing constitution of Nepal, Tamuwan Samyoukta Sangharsha Samiti (UTSC) has commenced the relay hunger strike at Manav Adhikar Chok of Chipledhunga in Pokhara on Tuesday.

Demanding the Tamuwan state, UTSC 9 leaders are taking part in hunger strike from 7 am today. Ganejndra Subba, Man Bahadur Tamu, Kul Bahadur Bhujel, Tek Bahadur Tamang, Gopal Gurung, former captain Naresh Thapa, Dhan Bahadur Pariar and Chandra Tamang  Muskan are taking part in that strike.

That strike is said to be solidarity to another hunger strike began today in Kathamandu- Saheed Manch, launching by 29 fringe parties and Federal alliance, agitating with 26 point demands.Rewriting of constitution, identity base federalism, constitution including Tamuwan, guarantee of rights, fully proportional representation in government sectors are the major demands of that strike.

According to UTSC coordinator Hum Gurung the strike includes traditional Ghatoo dance, Kaura dance, flock dance and cultural dance, lasts everyday in 7 pm.
